Wetland Construction and Conservation Projects

J E Spence & Son has considerable experience in lake and wildlife wetland construction and conservation projects, having worked with the likes of the RSPB, Essex Wildlife Trust, Natural England, The Wild Trout Trust and The Environment Agency.

We offer advice and on-site visits for constructing ponds, scrapes and sluices for stewardship schemes around the Lincolnshire area and beyond. We work in conjunction with R W Consultancy, who act as advisers.

Irrigation, Drainage and Flood Defence Schemes

We worked on flood defence water storage scheme at Ingoldmells with the Lindsey Marsh Drainage Board and have built lagoons and reservoirs including Blankey Reservoir, an irrigation scheme spanned several kilometres from Ashby-de-la-Launde to Digby.

We have also constructed large scale water management schemes for Dyson Farming.
